Which data
What you enter when sending a request: name, email, WhatsApp number, country of residence, message, and your stay programme (dates, travellers, stages, activities). For an agency: the agency's name, its contact details and those of the contact person. No bank details are requested in the application: payment is then made by secure InstaPay link or Wise transfer, under their own privacy rules.
Why, and on what basis
Only to study your request, advise you, send you your quote and then organise your stay. This is the legal basis for processing: answering your request before a possible contract. Your data is never sold or used for advertising.
Who has access
Our team and, only to organise your stay, the group's resorts and our local partners (drivers, guides, boats), who receive only what they need (name, dates, number of travellers).
Where it is stored
In a database hosted in Europe (Ireland) by Supabase. Emails are sent by Resend (Europe, Ireland) and our replies come from our Gmail mailbox. The application is hosted by Netlify, and anti-robot protection is provided by Cloudflare Turnstile, which analyses technical data (IP address, browser) without using it for any other purpose. Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union, with the safeguards required by the GDPR.
How long
Requests that do not lead to a booking are deleted 3 years after the last contact. Requests that become bookings are kept for the period required by law.
Cookies and your browser
The programme you build is kept in your browser so you can come back to it. It contains no personal data. The agency and team areas use a login cookie, which is needed to stay signed in. The application uses no advertising trackers and no audience measurement tools.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data at any time, or object to its use, by writing to unitedcolorsofbali@gmail.com. We answer within 30 days. If you live in the European Union, you can also contact your country's data protection authority. We also comply with Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 27 of 2022).
